I'm terrified of spiders ! yes i know what your thinking !!! when we get our home invaded by them i get my girlfriend to catch them and sling them in the tank for the Arowana do devour!

I don't like them !!!

Nice group of arachnids you got there. Its about time I hear about someone else with T's! I have only been keeping spiders for about 2.5-3 years and my collection grew from 1 to about 25 in about a year. Since then I have been down sizing. Right now I keep the following (in no particular order)...

1- Citharischius crawshayi - king baboon - female

3- Pterinochilus sp. - Usambara orange - 2 males - 1 female

1- Haplopelma lividium - cobalt blue - female

2- Avicular versicolor - pink toe (Antillies?) - 2 females

1- Psalmopoeus irminia - Venezuelan sun tiger - female

1- Heteroscroda maculata - Togo starburst (ornamental baboon) - female

1- Poecilotheria regalis - Indian ornamental - female

1- Poecilotheria fasciata - Sri Lanken ornamental - female

A few mystery spiders as well, actually, I think one is a Camroon red (Hysterocrates gigas). Does yours have really thick back legs? I know there is a few species with fat rear legs.

By the way, you should try to post up some pics if you can. I have some pics of tarantulas in my gallery.

A large jumping spider one the living room ceiling, it gets fed crane flies, It has been there almost a year, is it a pet or am I just lazy? You decide.

Softturtle, from what I know H. gigas do not have enlarged rear legs, but they do have reddish coloring on their frong legs which is very evident in juveniles. Do you have any pics of your mystery spider? Here are some pics of my various creepy crawlies:

WOW! Those are great pics. I basically want all of those. I'm lovin' the blue fang, and the centipedes. And that Avicularia, she's super plump! I have pics, but they are to large to post. You can look in my gallery (right under the picture of the turtle) to see what you think my ??? spider is. Its the one that says camroon red? I think thay are on the last page in my gallery. Feel free to look through the photos and tell me what you think. I will have more pics of my "FUN" spiders up soon. They tend to be a little camera shy and if I mess with them to much they let me know. But soon enough.

PEACE

I just checked out your gallery and without a doubt, your mystery spider is a Stout-Leg Baboon (Eucratoscelus pachypus)....very cool spiders. Its definitely a species I'd like to get in the future.
