My old breeding pair of oscars used to savage my hand if I put it in, they had teeth and knew how to use them.
my current one eyed oscar is very interactive, but it takes him a good 30 seconds to realise im there, cause he has a blind side. My chocolate cichlid however is probably the most interactive cichlid I have along with my Champsochromis caeruleus (looks like the african version of a pike cichlid)
other than that the most personable fish you could keep would be either Puffers, or things like lungfish, large catfish etc
