If you gotta ask which would be better your not ready to get either. you can't just slap on Forced Induction, gotta have the supporting Mods First, after that the options are endless for Hondas.
It really depends what you want to do with the car, that helps figure out which will be better for your application, figure out your expectations. Turbos normally have a higher HP output, but come with lag and smaller torque curves, superchargers will give a more linear power delivery, but normally do not have as high a power output.
You probably want to get a different engine in honestlyi am assuming a 1990 for 300 bucks either has a ton of miles, or is base model engine, no overhead cams, still with alot of miles.
With Hondas there are alot of engine options available, you need to figure out which one of those you want to go with first. alot of people go with the 1.8 gsr engine as it has more displacement and Vtec with DOHC, some go with hybrid mixes of blocks and heads from different honda and acura vehicles, and still some go with the bigger engines out of the preludes and CRVs. the choices of engines is crazy.
Not sure if I have any new pics of the ghia. I have some dropped spindles I need to put on and an aftermarket sliding sunroof. Just haven't gotten around to putting them in.
Nice, an E30. Good thing you got a 325is and not a 325es. That 121 hp 2.7l eta motor is torquey, but can't rev past 5,000 rpm. The 168 hp i motor is much better.
I do like "older" BMWs, but I don't consider an E30 old. I consider everything before the introduction of the 3, 5, 6, 7 series designations to be classic BMWs. In other words, pre 1976 BMWs = classic BMWs. My favorites are the E9 coupes (2800 Cs/3.0 Cs/3.0 Csi) from the early 1970s.
I think a Civic is a poor car to modify, but for different reasons. I think all FWD cars are transportation appliances. As such, Civics are good cars for their intended purpose--transporting people in an efficient and reliable manner. Modifications tend to make them less efficient at that purpose. No matter how much you spend on a Civic, it will still be FWD. 60% of its weight will still be over the front wheels and it will still drive and steer with the same wheels. These are performance limitations that can't be overcome, IMO. Just keep the Civic stock and enjoy it.
Yea, they would make it look like an asstecVery nice truck there, I've been drooling over the typhoon/syclones since they came out. I would say GM should bring em back but they would screw it up.
