Okay, time to revive this. I got an internship at a place called Meadowview Biological Research Station. I'll be helping to preserve native pitcher plants, Venus flytraps, and sundews, along with tropical pitchers. Out main focus is preserving and restoring the Sarracenias and Droseras of Virginia and Maryland. It's going to be an awesome summer for me.
Anyways, I just picked this thing up, Nepenthes ventrata. It's a naturally occuring hybrid of N. ventricosa and alata. This thing has an insane growth rate of 6 feet per year! nepenthes by Wire Man, on Flickr
