Any CCW permit holders out there?

This happened back in Feb. CCDW holder, acting like an idiot, kills a lady. But Im sure this isnt relevant because its a rare case and shouldnt even be brought up in this conversation.

The fact is a defensive shooting whether you're law enforcement or not is a high stress situation and the reason innocent bystanders get shot is because the shooter panics and forgets the fundamentals of proper trigger control, grip and sight alignment.

Many people who get there carry permits think that just carrying a gun and shooting it a few times is all the training and practice they need. The fact is unless you practice regularly and seek advanced firearm training you are only hurting yourself. If you fire in a defensive shooting and miss hitting an innocent bystander you will not only face persecution by the State but also the victims family. The consequences are severe and in my opinion ample reason to shoot as much as possible and seek advanced training.

The way I see it if you're going to carry a gun for protection whether you're a cop or civilian you need to train, if you can't get training then practice and train yourself. Some people say that the high price of ammo is the reason they don't shoot as much as the should. Well the fact is if you are involved in a self defense shooting at hit an innocent bystander you're going to wish you spent the money on range time, lessons and the high cost of ammo. I guarantee the legal and emotional costs will be much higher.

Its as simple as that, no fighting the law. 1. What are your chances of shooting a bad guy without a gun? Well if you dont have a gun you dont have a gun, what do you want us to do about it?
2. Now a person just failed your class and doesnt have a gun at a gun fight? He/she failed for a reason, if the states requires a pass/fail test to conceal carry or even open carry, then he/she needs to take the class again and straighten up their act.
3. Luck? I would rather have a glock! What does this mean?
4. Exactly why we (adults) should be able to carry a weapon. Well yea you can carrry a deadly weapon, according to your state, you take the required tests to carry a weapon or just pay the fee and wait like some states allow or live in a state that is CC.
5. What if your not the guy teaching? OH wait, all teachers are the same? How in the world are all the teachers the same? That doesnt make any sense whatsoever and neither does the first part.

I dont see the complications of taking a mandatory test, and apparently neither do the millions of americans that CC and OC in the US except a few folks that have fear of the government or whatever else they want to call it.

Im really starting to think your just a successful troll. This is at least the second time that something was straight forward yet the meaning just zoomed over your head. And dont play the game of posting links like those. I can play too, but ill win. I can post 1000x more than you can of illegally owned firearms causing issues.

Tell me, what the hell are you trying to get across or what is it that you are wanting me to say? Everything I say you twist around, say this and say that, you never answer any of the questions, etc.

Are you wanting me to acknowledge you are right and I’m wrong is some aspect?
 
I havnt twisted squat, your simply trying to side step and save face. And iv answered all of your questions. Not sure why you think I havnt.

Your trying to justify turning a right into a privledge(both CC and general gun ownership) and im shooting down your arguements. How is that confusing? Was under the impression that everyone could easily understand that.

I beleive we had someone on here, an instructor, that basically said what I have been trying to say this whole time, I dont want to tell you so I'll ask you, would you be so kind as to read his post a few pages back?

I agree as I have stated before but not actually typed out in such a manor as before, I dont beleive the government should interact with our gun rights. Why cant you sit back and think for a minute, we just cant conceal and carry in every single state legally.... I simply stated about a hundred times proper training, not by the government but by a trained individual of any caliber that has a lick of sense. No matter what the 2nd A states, apparently the goverment doesnt understand it and wants to change it and probably remove it from the Constitution if they have/had their way.

I know the permit process doesnt keep guns out of the so called bad guys hands, but again, if theres a permit process, we need to follow it, simple as that in order to CC where it applies.

I dont make the laws, Im telling you how it is. It would be great if the entire US was CC, but its not and I dont see it happening anytime soon, if you are lucky enough to live in one of the 4 states that have CC, you are a luck SOB. Imagine living in Illinois....

Does the make sense??
