Any chili heads out there

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They seem to match with the tabasco more then Piri Piri. The peppers on the piri piri look to long.

I didn't try them because they look spicy. Not a fan of spicy food

It's winter here so I'm just using frozen ones at the moment, but I do have some small habanero and scotch bonnet seedlings coming on in my glasshouse, might try source some bhut seeds for summer....

If you're into super hot sauces then I have to give these local guys a plug ; http://www.firedragonchillies.com/

They're about an hour north of me and grow some insanely hot peppers, and their sauces are amazing! Plus the videos of him eating the chillis are rather amusing (turns and says to his kids "you might not have a father after this"!)

I keep telling myself that I need to eat more hot foods again, but I keep failing. I could barely handle the supercharged wings at Quaker Steak and Lube the other day, lol. I did try their triple atomic sauce and that was pretty good.

right now, the only hot sauces I have are Dave's Ghost Pepper, Frostbite and another one I can't remember

The hottest chilli is the Trinidad Scorpion "Butch T" which was grown by The Chilli Factory (Australia) and rated at 1,463,700 Scoville Heat Units (SHU) according to tests conducted by EML Consulting Services in Morisset, New South Wales, Australia, on 1 March 2011.

Word is that the Carolina Reaper is hotter but hasn't been confirmed yet.

You gotta eat peppers almost on the daily to build up a tolerance. And you have to try hotter peppers too. I don't eat the super hots though, don't see the point in trying to have "balls" or be cool.
