I just recently got two speeding tickets in the same week!! Each ticket was doing 85+ in a 65. Before this I have never done anything wrong, no tickets no accidents and I am 18. So these are my first offences so to speak. So I was wondering is there anyway in hell i can get to go to traffic school for both of these and get them off my record? I already know after this I am taking the bus everywhere because I would never want to speed again, so any advice as to what I can do in these situations?
I already know I'm an idiot for speeding, sheesh 85+ and a 90 in a 65 within the same week!:nilly::nilly::(:banhim:


So any CHP officers out there to give me advice or and CHP officers in socal want to help a fellow MFKer out:naughty::grinno::screwy:


grr just seem so mad, they didn't even give me a little simpathy as they both mentioned my grandfather as an officer, just straight up gave me the ticket.

so any help?

I would feel for ya.. However :D I have been there :) And really am empathetic :)


I remember guessing my speed once.... NEVER DO THAT!!! :D

yea well im going to fight mine casue the chp said they clocked me with a radar @ 85 when my tom tom said 75 in a 70 zone... hope u get this taken care of

no, but only about 30 miles apart, one from a patrol car and the other a motor cop:cry:

motor cop was the biggest Dbag ever, patrol car was a rooky but chill, in the matter of not screaming at me for going 90 in a 65..

my car tops out at 97
so i dunno how he got me at 90, but i dunno if i want to try and fight that, but i am going to pull the first ofdfence card and try for traffic school..
 
Well you could try going to traffic school for one and doing a Plea of obeyance for the other..

Best to go down to the PD and while signing up for traffic school for the worse of the two... Ask questions ;) If they say nay.. Then I would ask about Taking one to court and "Plea of Obeyance"

Either way.. even if you were able to delete both with one day at traffic school.. You would have to pay for Both :(

You can also take a Traffic class or Defensive driving class and this could help with keeping your insurance premium at bay...

Which in my opinion is the important part :D Insurance premiums on ticketed speeders are Killers :) And it really starts when you get more than one :(

Your only 18 so your premium is likely a good stiff amount already. Now it will most certainly go up.

I am deffinatly going to make a plea on one of them or both if i have to.

as for the insurance i already know there is a chance of this going up, and that will be a killer for me.:cry:
 
Get a radar detector. I got caught doin 145 in a 100 zone (kph)

The Volvo topped out at 240 :grinno:

Of course I never went that fast ;)
