ill do a video next time i go to greenbelt and house of tropicals the 2 stores dont even compare imo
greenbelt still tries to sell large low grade flowerhorns for 1000 dollors
not venting or bashing just telling the truth 1 RICHARD is not at all nice. 2 he does sell large fh for 1000 dollors 3 those same horns he has for 160 edens pets sells for 40-60 dollors 4-6inches depending on size also eden carrys 3 inch cl for 5.99-7.99. dont have any skeletons have friends who have and one who still works there. the lady who works there is very nice and if you get to know her she will tell u the same thing she doesnt agree with how he keeps the fish herself. i really only go there to trade fish in because he will take anything he can get a lot of good fish he just doesnt take good care of him. i guess giving truthful acurate info is bashing. filthy tanks with sick skinny fish have nothing to do with bare bottom tanks.Wow someone venting. I bought a few fishes from beltway. The owner nice If you go in there and talk like you have knowledge On fishes, he pretty cool. If your stomach can't handle seeing a shop being run with bare bottom tanks just dnt go there any more why bash the shop name. But it seem like you still do "window shopping" if you want a pretty neat shop than go to petsmart or petco. For the record he didn't have any "$1000 low grade FH" what he did have was some 5"-7" big head, big chest nice red dragons for $160+tax. Sound like you have some skeleton in your closet between you and the owner.
Real fishes keeper dnt bash on tread like this.
guy can get almost anything and hes been around for years he just dosent have the passion for fish anymore its all about the money have either of you ever been to his first store (capital plaza mall) it was awesome. i usually take one weekend out the month and hit as many local stores as i can. but get most of my fish online. op asked for a good store everybody has a different opinion on good. to some cheap is good to others quality is good. i can tell u people who have the money to spend usually pick quality first. No reason to bash. Beltway and house of tropicals are just different stores. At beltway I bought 4 5 inch clown loaches in perfect health for $10 a piece.
I bought 3 3 inch ones at HoT and 1 died for $18 a piece. Just be smart with your purchases.
Both have good fish. You just have to know which store to go to for certain thing. For instance on big purchases HoT might be better. But for finding best bang for your buck, with occasional awesome fish beltway is the ticket.
