Any help for a severely beaten red devil?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Unfortunately, the female red devil died. Thanks for all of the information about trying to treat the injuries.

I guess I will start looking for a new powerful female red devil.

sorry for your loss. next time make sure you have divider. and always introduce threw the divider first. especially for larger species of cichlids. :)

Thanks. I will always use the divider when reintroducing fish, lesson learned.

The confusing thing for me is how well they had gotten along for years and for two previous spawnings. I guess that their behavior changes as the fish grows.
