You've got stores selling tigers for $400 and marbles for $250?
Name one store that has tigers for $400. let alone one out here. bottom line is you are full of bs.

Why don't you stop talking and just post the fish!!!! I hate people who are all talk. First lets see some pics of your setups that you are going to be housing these in.

I also agree with DavidW poor business planning. You have no clue what doa are going to be let alone if you even get the fish peroid. Coming from someone "YOU" who just got their first ray I think this is a bunch of bs. Learn the rays first or in that matter fish period then talk or actually don't talk just post the fish in your tank!!!

Josh, what is your problem? Just because you decide to post several different for sale sections with different prices on each fish doesn't mean you need to start harassing people on these forums. Why don't you actually read through the post before you continue to act like a jealous little baby and you will see why nothing has been posted yet!

how am I jealous I have a tiger ray... I have the fish you wish you had. All I am saying is learn your Stuff and then just get the stuff and just post it.

I think David has some valid advice to offer from his own experience, though the wording or perceived tone could be better.

Sbrodacz, I wish you the best on your venture. We all start somewhere.

You have a fish that I am selling for half the price. It is funny for someone who is trying to start a business they go on forums trying to bash others. I think someone is afraid of a little competition boys and girls.

I do agree that David had some valid points, however, everyone has to start somewhere and he has no idea what my expenses are or what I am paying for everything.

In the US I've seen them sold for that but by accident. In Hong Kong you better believe they are that cheap or in South East Asia where they are breeding.

Did you read this before posting? The petulant child screams through the text.

Half the price yeah ok. Yes my prices change depending on what comes in at what sizes. Also sometimes the vendors run sales so I feel best to give that sale to the customer hence lowering prices. But since you don't know business that well you probly don't realize food, water, electric, doa, and other misc expenses that go into the fish. Bottom point to all of this Seth is just post the fish in your "tank" at your house. Don't post a list from a wholesaler you think you may have. You want I can do that too. It will be about 20times longer then your list buddy!!!

Just make sure to throw up a stock list and some pics when everything comes in for those of us that may be interested.

Will do. I am actually suppose to be meeting with a webpage design firm in a few hours.

here's my two cents....

1 cent: your prices are nice and "if" you can bring them in at that price then by all means good for you and thanks for hooking us up! i wish to do business at that price...

2 cents: dont take this to heart, but atleast open your eyes and ears a little an listen to david, josh, and a few others that have been there and done that or are doing it. i myself have thought and did what you are planning and all it got me was a broken back which i ended up losing my day job and then ended up giving the hobby up for the last 5 months.
its a fun hobby and sure you make some money or break even to get the fish you want while at the same time hooking others up. i've made some money, broke even, and lost money. but in the end it is a hobby and i enjoy. i guess what i'm saying is this....

if it's a hobby, just stick to the hobby of buying, selling, and trading. your not going to make any money if you just keep it as a hobby and will end up stressing yourself out. you dont know how many of us are already doing what your doing but still have a day job. it becomes so much work that its a family affair.

if your in it for the money, then rethink your prices and i'm sure you thought of your overhead. just selling fish alone doesnt cover your overhead. thats why all fish stores still sell food, accessories, and other pets. for their store to thrive you have to have foot traffic. i hope your planning on dogs and reptiles and birds to help sell your fish. internet alone wont help you break the "break even" mark. you'll have to venture to jut other than fish.

there's my two cents. not trying to be mean, jut giving my input where it probably doesnt belong. but at these prices i would like to see it happen for you and for me. i'm all support for a local guy. but you gotta understand that if you dont have anything to back up what your saying then theres not much to believe....

BTW can you get me prices, pics, and a size no bigger than 6" BD leos? theres your first big find...

regards
laosy fish
