I should get my flash and $2k 70-200 f/2.8 IS lens back from a friend and get some shots done of my fish!

Update on hait eggs, lots of fungus, but I think I see dots in quite a few eggs. They were laid Fri night or Sat morn, so at 82F they should be hatching pretty soon if they were fertilized!

I had to remove the male after the fry ate a gaping whole in his side

He's almost back to normal now.
And Darth, a group of the fry ended up near you, in Statham.

My male was eaten alive by the fry's. I couldn't save him on time...

Well, atleast, my female is in a good home. (Ruck Fules).

I got home a little while ago to see my large pair in breeding dress. I took a couple pics. but they did'nt come out very good and I did'nt want to push it, so I picked the better looking one. The male is getting close to 6", the female is about 3".

It looks a few of my fish has mad their way to your home. If you have an extra istlanum male, I would like to trade with you. I have a male cuban if you are interested. It would be perfect for your female. PM me if you are interested.

When mine laid eggs I thought the entire batch was gone to fungus

the next day, this.

Gotta watch out for those fry, had Fossorochromis fry almost take out a female that way too.

Yeah, Wildcaught said that was you female cuban and the haitiensis I got from Ewok also came from you I believe. Thanks for the offer, but I believe I have 2 male cubans at this time.

I doubt that I'll leave my male in very long if they spawn again, took me a year to find him, and when I saw them chomping away with no resistance shocked me into reality, even though I've seen it a few times before.
That's one nice looking hait, had to be a shock to find him cannabalized, Polo.
Happens fast too, think if I had gone to work without removing him, it would have been all over.
