Any OC'rs in here??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yes it is. It doesnt matter if it it noticed or not, if u have the right then you can exercise it.
Y would it be a poor choice?? Because it might actually be noticed that Im carrying??

PS im already a member of pafoa.org but thanks for the link anyway.

A right unexercised is a right lost

I have 2 friends who have permits and can carry in Deleware and I believe PA as well. I' am unfortunalty in MD so its a very big NO NO here. Although I believe if you are able to get the permit you are able to carry in any state where it is lawfully permited.

No it's really is not the same. Do you carry a gun for protection and do you advertise that you have a gun for protection are different.

Its a firearm for protection. Whether or not its exposed is my choice. Its still a firearm for protection.

You asked about OC. A few of us said OC in some areas was ill advised, due to the reaction of either locals or LEOs. You took that to mean that we are aginst firearms for self defense. Which was not correct. I support carry but with discretion, not mandated by law but exercised by the individual. IE: if you are in an area where guns scare the crap out of the locals carry concealed. If it won't stir the pot feel free to put wheels on a tripod mounted ma Deuce and push it around like a stroller.

No you said about its ill adived. U and u only. the other was trolling plain and simple.

I support what ever ur like, wether people around u like it or not. If its ur right, exercise it. As i said earlier, a right unexercised is a right lost.

The LEO's can suck it. If they have a problem tough. Its LEGAL, therefor there isnt a dang thing they can do. In fact OCing will help teach them the law.

That cost more than one gun owner their license here. It's not prohibited in my state but people have been nailed under other laws such as menacing, intimidation, disturbing the peace, etc. You are permitted to carry openly on your property and unless you point it at someone they can't touch you. There is case law that backs that up here. On public property the results are mixed in court. Tends to fall along monetary lines.

Don't agree but so be it. Though with the recent case law regarding gun bans going in our favor might be a good time to open carry.

Where do u live? Here if I dont draw it without just cause it is impossible for them to try and charge me with anything. Philly.too. But u do need a permit to oc in philly. Anywere else u dont need one.

Its a better time than ever to oc. New laws ruling on our favor plus new laws introduced to oppress us we as gun owners need to show there are responcible gun owners and stand up for ourselfs.

I dont know what ur problem is with lawful carry but i dont really care. If you have an issue with it, then just leave my thread.

If you have an issue with it, then dont do it. In fact, just leave you doors unlocked, car with the keys in the ignition, and wear a shirt around that says Im unarmed, please rob me. Im asking if anyone here lawfully carrys a firearm because they would prefer to be ready to actually protect themselves

whoa. thats a great response.

you clearly misunderstood what i meant. but thanks. im gonna assemble my sniper rifle in front of the cops today. i want to see what happens
