How do you know about Kansas? Almost every lake or pond in Northeast Kansas is deeper than 10 feet, but that doesn't mean I am going to dive in them. You are right about the brown water thing...
I do like Kansas for the hunting, fishing, and the overall feel of nature. It doesn't hurt either that most of my family lives here and I grew up here
Hell, it doesn't even hurt the Kansas is the home of the NATIONAL CHAMPION Kansas Jayhawks!

I just hate it because of the lack of super nice lfs and great deals on used equipment like socal and the west coast gets...
