any other younger people cant sleep at night?

i feel like i am tired, but my mind is racing. All i do is pretty much listen to music all night cuz it helps me out but does anyone else experience this? I dont fall asleep till 4 or 5, not by choice! If i could i would fall asleep very early every night.
 
im 20 and been a nocternal guy for the last 5 years or so. stay up tell sunrise then head to bed. sometimes being woken up early in the AM for no reason and irritates me! some nights i just stay up all nite and day.
 
ya i dont plan on going to bed anytime soon....i just cant, got too much on my mind, but i wish i could
 
watch tv or something. it helps. also, during the day try not to use the bed for any activities. your body should recognise your bed as a place for sleep & sex only (im not being funny, this is part of insomnia counselling). if your insomnia is really cauing you problems, see a psychologist or a counsellor
 
I have the same problem
I'm probably gonna fall asleep around 5 and I have to be somewere at 12

I was out doing stuff ALL day today. I was fishin and hit the gym and played football. Usually being outside all day and playing sports will drain me, but i am watching tv, listening to music, doing anything but i am just not tired....stressed out i guess
 
Im 23 everynight I sleep around 1 to 4 in the morning, It sux at times especially when you dont have at least 7 hours of sleep
 
I've been an insomniac since I was about 7. I've never found a cure. I've tried tons of things I read that were supposed to help, but none help. I've tried a few sleeping pills but they leave me feeling like a zombie the next morning. The thing that works best for me is taking 4mg of xanax, smoking some nice herb, and popping on some ambient music or a movie I have no interest in. I wish I didn't have to take the xanax for that, I get it for anxiety, but it works better at getting me a full night's sleep.

I was just stumbling around the back yard smoking a cigarette and could feel I'm about to be dead to the world in about 20 minutes. Good night/day to all.

Bingo...
You have stuff on your mind for a reason. I used to not be able to fall asleep and needed meds for it. My reasons were relationship stress and constantly hearing gunfire going off;)
 
im 17, i stay up until 1 go to bed and just lie there unable to sleep. so i get up and have a shower because i heard the warm water makes you tired then i go back to bed. i will finally fall asleep around 4ish. i think i just need to go to bed early every night and get into a pattern.
