This is the second part of part 1
<Scene changes to far away , The Klingon homeworld: Kronos>
[A fleet of Klingon ships leave the planet and engage a Borg
HydroCube in battle. The HydroCube fires single phasers at each
ship damaging or destroying them. They are having no effect of
the HydroCube]
<Meanwhile back aboard the Enterprise on the bridge as Picard and
the away team enter>
A Lt. at the helm: Sir , incoming message. The Borg are in
Klingon space, heading in the Kronos
homeworld area.
[Worf has a look of shock and anger]
Picard: So, it's not just the Federation they are after. Has
there been any sightings in Romulan space yet?
Lt. at the helm: No sir!
Picard: Maximum warp to Earth, engage! What is the estimated
time of arrival?
Lt. at helm: 14 days 8 hours
[with a disgusted look by the news Picard turns to Riker]
Picard: Will, I need to see you in my room now.
<Scene changes to the Captain's room>
Picard: Will, I understand your anger...but I need someone
who is acting like a Captain, not someone out for
revenge.
Riker: [about to argue he stops for a second] I understand.
Picard: Arrange for a meeting in about one hour. There is
over 4 pages of reports that I need to catch up on
first.
<In the meeting room one hour later>
Picard: I wish I had good news to report, but that is not
the case. The Borg have already taken over some
important sites and planets in one day. This is at an
uncanny rate even for the Borg. Geordi, what is the
status of the armor?
Geordi: Fully operational. We tested it 22 times already with
no problems.
Picard: Excellent, we will need it. Admiral Janaway is
recommissoning Voyager with her crew.
Riker: We will need all the help we can get. What about the
Romulans?
Picard: Still no word on the Borg attacking them. It seems
that they will not help us because they fear the Borg
are already planning an attack on their space.
Riker: ...and they want all there ships protecting themselves.
Typical Romulans.
Picard: I know this is bad but we can't give up yet...
dismissed.
<10 days later on Earth>
Janaway: I knew it was a good Idea to keep most of Voyager
together. How is it coming Tom?
Paris: It's still a mess Admiral.
Janaway: We have about six hours till lift off.
Paris: You can't be serious? The ship hasn't ran in nearly a
year. We need another day of just testing alone.
Janaway: I'm sorry Tom, the Borg have been sighted about 30
light years from here. The rate they are moving...we
don't have days, we have hours. I know we are running
a thin crew but I have faith in everyone.
Kim: What about Chakotay, 7 of 9 and Tovok?
Janaway: Chakotay and 7 of 9 will arrive in about 2 hours.
[Janaway frowns]
I thought you knew about Tovok...he was on Vulcan.
[Everyone has a sad look]
<Scene changes to Enterprise in the meeting room>
Picard: For those that don't know I have more bad news. Over
60% of the Federation has fallen or been under attack
by the Borg now. They continue to move with incredible
speed. Many of the important planets are now under
Borg control. They are closing in on Earth. 738
Federation ships destroyed or assimilated. Over
300 Klingon ships. Bajor is one of the planets to
fall under Borg control.
Worf: What about Deep Space Nine?
[Picard looks at Worf then nods his head]
Picard: Kronos and most of the Empire has fallen.
[Worf moves to adjust himself in the chair, shows sign of anger]
Picard: The Borg have now started entering Romulan Space. The
Cardassians, the Breen, and others have collapsed.
Lt.Blake: Great! We are all going to die! aren't we?
Riker: Get ahold of yourself Lieutenant!
[B-9 has a confused look]
Picard: Also, we will meet up with Martok at the Celtive
system in 21 hours.[Worf looks at Picard]. It would
seem that Martok has been in Federation space
attaching an Ion cannon to his Ship. We are hoping
this will have an effect on the Borg.
Dismissed.
[Everyone gets up and leaves except B-9]
Picard: Is there something wrong B-9?
B-9: Can I ask you a question?
Picard: What is it?
B-9: What is death?
Picard: [Picard grins with a small laugh]...oh you remind
me so much of Data. If only there was more time.
B-9: Sir?
Picard: Never Mind.
<Scene changes back to Voyager, 6 hours later>
Janaway: Ok , everyone...our mission is to meet and stop the
Borg by any means necessary. Tom and Chakotay, I
need you at the helm.
Chakotoy: Yes, Admiral.
Janaway: 7 of 9 and Harry , I need you two at weapons.
B'Elanna , of course I need you in engineering.
B'Elanna: I don't suppose I could convince you to wait another
day...could I?
Janaway: Sounds like you have been talking to your husband...
Sorry, we are leaving now.
Doctor: What about me?
Janaway: hmmm...we don't need a doctor right now. Can you help
B'Elanna in engineering?
Doctor: Well...it's out of my area but I suppose I can.
Janaway: Everyone else go to your respected posts. Let's go!
<Scene changes to a view of Earth as Voyager leaves>
<More time passes, scene changes again to Enterprise on the
bridge>
B-9: Sir, we are approaching the Celtive system...and
sir we are picking a Borg vessel 2 light years away.
Picard: Change to an intercept course, deploy armor and go
to Red Alert.
<Scene changes to Voyager bridge>
Paris: Admiral, Borg vessel dead ahead.
Janaway: Drop out of warp. I was hoping we could have at least
gotten past Alpha Centauri... deploy armor.
[As armor deploys, the Borg vessel appears on the viewscreen]
7 of 9: Admiral, we need to get out of here now.
[Janaway looks at 7 of 9]
Kim: Admiral...we are being hailed.
<Scene changes back to Enterprise as it approaches the
Borg ship>
Picard: Lets not waste any time...Fire!
[No damamge is done to the Borg ship. It starts to glow]
Riker: Everyone brace yourself!
[The Borg's 5-phaser which can only be described as each
Sphere's half, fires to a central location in front of the main
body which fires the 5th phaser which combines with the other
four and seeks the target]
[The Borg fire the 5 phasers at the Enterprise , which goes
right thru the armor and thru the saucer and out the other end
causing destruction in it's path.]
