Any tips on how to make my tank look nicer?

You can use velcro to hang felt on the back of your tank, I did it on mine with it full and it wasn't too difficult plus it's easy to change colors if you want. As for decor go to your local landscaping store and look at either slate pieces there or larger chunks of lava rock. I have a huge pile of it in my tank and my mbuna love all the caves in there and it only cost me $0.50/lb.

i feel like slate looks a little unnatural so maybe ill buy 30 pounds of lava rock to start off with
 
IF.. .. I were to go with an African tank... these look pretty nice. I think I like the first one better though... :eek:
