any where to catch snakeheads in or near ohio

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
they used to be legal all over the us till dummies started letting them go

it started with an asian man in maryland. his wife was sick (or something) and its supposed to bring good fortune to release snakeheads (or any type of fish?) anyway, he released snakeheads into a pond, not knowing the consequences.

we arent even allowed to use invasive fish as bait... just encase they get off the hook... so much for breeding convicts for bait lol (I dont actually use live bait)

That does make me wonder. If you did catch one and told fish and game would they let you keep it in your home aquarium or make you destroy it ?

Well, i live in VA and according to a Wildelife paper if you catch one you are supposed to cut its head off and put it on ice, then bring it to the local office for a smal reward or something like that. My guess is so they can study it or somthing...

anyone know of any spots around me?

sounds like a great way to get some extra cash.
also heard that in Hawaii, you get cash rewards for killing mongoose.

Bowfin might not be legal either. They are illegal in Cali at least.
