anybody got nandus nandus?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hey I started this Nandus craze, if I cant find one there will be a big war!!!:angryfire:angryfire:swear::swear::irked: :ROFL::hitting:

I got some from TFD a while back. Got 4. 1/2 died the first day. Another lasted 3 days and the tuff one made it a whopping 6 days. Wouldn't suggest this as a good source.

I hope TFD refunded your money or did something...

LMAO....yeah I'm sure I'll get it on my "next" order.

I got 4 nandus, 2 cuda, 4 scombs, 4 stonefish, 2 Retics, a fire eel, a (SUPOSED) Mystus Wikii and a mutt catfish.

I ended up with 2 Scombs, a mutt, and 2 Stonefish. The asian redtail was eaten by a Jar.

The retics poisoned the Retic I had for almost 2 years....all dead.

Its not a South American leaf fish, if you knew anything about nandus sp. you would know they come from india and regions around that area. South american leaf fish (Monocirrhus polyacanthus) are similar looking but you can tell between the 2.
yup, you're right. my bad.

who has the biggest and please try and get a pic up of him. mine is at 4" and growing insanely slow!!!

I have two Nandus Nandus and one Nandus Sp. Slaty blue. They are massively underrated fish.

I have had mine for sometime now and still can't get them off live food, I have heard of peaple who have achieved it though. They can swallow relitively huge items of food. They are great to watch feed. As said above they are slow growers.

All in all a great predator for the small aquarium.

well you are very lucky, mine won't even eat earthworms
