Anybody use Purigen?

Let me also add, I've tried Purigen in 18 inch wide tank. A tank that narrow, water always looks clear. I don't really look in the side of that tank. I might try it again in a wider tank one day.

I bought a bunch of it a few years back to see what all the fuss was about and it definitely cleared up tannins from my driftwood. The pix below are looking down the length of my (10') tank. The first pic is before Purigen. The second Pic was taken 2 days after placing a few baggies of Purigen in my sump. It works. Sucks up tannins like a sponge.

I had a lot of driftwoods in my tank and the tannish effect from woods making my tank look more nature, the downside that I don't have a clear look for my plants. So, I put 200ml Purigen in and my water clear after few days and all my plants color popped out and look awesome with crystal clear water
