Anybody who worked/working at Petco would like to share experiences and job info?

Got to disagree with this. I find petco takes better care then most animals than most pet stores around me including pet smart. If you’ve seen petsmart reptiles you know what I mean. I’ve also seen some pretty awesome fish there. There’s some adoption fish currently which is 2 full grown cichlids 1 being a jewel cichlid. I’ve seen phantom plecos, these weird elephant nose fish I forget there name lmao. Rare discus and albino rainbow fish. I’ve also seen some pretty nuts salt water fish. Not to into them but know they were big, healthy and stunning. I knew the dog face puffer of course tho lol. The plants I can kinda agree with but personally I don’t have any place near me with good plants.

I haven’t had bad experiences with my petsmart’s reptiles. Haven’t gotten any at petco.
Careful with the salt though, more than meets the eye there and if you take a close look, velvet, brook, and ich are swarming.

I find that reptiles at petco get much larger tanks and always look a lot healthier than reptiles at petsmart. Mine also gets a lot of cool reptiles recently big red foot tortoises, basilisk, mossy leaf tailed gecko. Another one had Chinese cave geckos and panther geckos. This is just recent. Mine also gets these poison dart frogs and tons of chameleons.

So much cooler than by me. Only cool things by me are iguanas, chameleons, dart frogs, and redeye frogs. My petsmart just started selling Cuban false chameleons (an anole species). I do agree that the petco cages are bigger, can’t comment on the reptiles looking any healthier though.
I may be getting some more anoles soon so I will see then though.
