Anyone else find this a lil messed up??

I got that in the earlier post which is what got me posting about it in the first place...Now the USOC,federal FUNDING or not may pay the bonus money but I still disagree with the taxation.

respectfully, on what grounds, just gp? thats taxpayer money they are GETTING
 
Oh is it?....What about all of the billions of dollars we send to countries all over the world,some of them even hate us but gladly take our money,are they paying any taxes?....That might be a rant better left to another discussion but this thing with the Olympians having to pay does not sit well with me.I mean they are makng the country look good by winning for her.

this is american taxpayer money paid to americans on american soil ,for olympic performance in england..and no, foriegn countries dont pay taxes on wefare they get from america, but thats a different subject entirerly
 
I agree with you on the welfare point.
 
In all truthfulness, my wife was a victim of identity theft and we STILL have not gotten our taxes back. Does not look like it will be anytime soon either.
