Anyone else have a particular fish they can't keep?

Buffalo heads.... I have tried 3 of them, all on different occasions. None of them lived long at all. Maybe a month or two but that was it. Nothing else in the tank ever had any issues or problems either. I just can not keep them.

black pacu, i have had a single one die, and a pair, all were around 18". my red belly is doing great though 12-13" and i got it at 1". im picking up a 13" red tomorrow hoping it is only the blacks that i have problems with.


as for wishlist that i just cant keep YET. arapaima gigas, asain aro, channa.
edit. also cant keep a mystus wickii due to lack of a free empty tank.

An mbu puffer fish because of my ray, it will bite the disc and a huge royal pleac, cactus plec or adonis for the same reason (it will suck on my ray)

guppys they always die (i dont mean that they are eaten) i just cant seem to keep them alive.

Angels and Neon Tetras. I seem to have a knack for killing these fish.

sounds crazy but , i cant keep clown loaches . whether they are eaten or just die . my problem fish

shiners, i've tried about six different times to keep them to breed. next day the entire room smells like a fish market..
