I put a couple rainbow’s in a grow out temporarily with some juvenile South Americans I bumped my heat for a couple of days, long story short. They laid eggs 2 days ago and have since gone on to terrorize an entire tank of fish 3x there size. There being moved as soon as I can safely do it. I have never witnessed this level of aggression, they straight up chased off a green Texas and I saw fear in his eyes.

Solo.

180g.

Constantly tries to kill fake plants, bit my fingers at the glass, super territorial, darts in and out of her caves, and...

Tank is probably too small though.

I had 3 pearsei, that I ended up moving from a 150 gallon to a 300 after they hit 15", and after they became edgy and nasty with each other. More time, more growth, relative to size, in that 300 gal tank), they looked to take up the same space as 3 adult mollies in a 5 gallon tank.

Mine always had an issue with other cichlids of course but a weird hatred for plecos. In the 150 he harrassed an l600 and l200, I had a pair of sunshines for a short time in the 300 and he constantly harrassed them. The only fish he completely ignored were cats and bichirs.

Tough for me to say definitively since ive only kept one but i couldnt imagine 3 in a 150. Though he did calm down a bit as he grew.

I have two, one is my chromis, it's bullied two fish to the point where I had to get rid of them because they were going to die, the other one is red eyed tetras, they are like mini piranhas when I drop food in, they swarm chunks of tilapia, brine shrimp, bloodworms, daphnia, small earthworms, and even crickets
