anyone else have alligator/rhino pleco?

i just got mine today after a years worth of searching (not online tho) for $12.99 at my lfs and as soon as i saw it, i had to have it. it was the only one in the tank too. it's about 3.5" in my 40 G and it had a bit of a fight with a 4" gibby, not much damage but i'm sure it's gonna heal. imo it's one of my favorites cuz it looks masculine lol



 
awesome! he's beautiful! i'm sure he'll heal up just fine, they're pretty resiliant little guys. and yeah, that's why they're one of my favorites, too. very rugged looking. i LOVE the big fins on these guys. tried to get a picture of mine today but the lighting sucked for taking pics on my phone... my camera's been missing for a few months. it's around somewhere, just don't know where lol

I know this thread has been dead a long time but I just had to show off my gator plec as these guys are pukka and mine grows very very fast I got him about a inch and a half a year ago now he's easy 8-10 inch now
