Ok lol :) Maybe I can save some extra vaseline with the new lube and I can rub the vaseline on my back for my next jiu jitsu competition lol slip right out of chokes :ROFL:

Its leaking a lot less with the tape thanks for the suggestion! Much appreciated

Since you ordered a new one the teflon will probably work for now. Check to see if the female pat is cracked. I cracked one while trying to clean the filter in a hurry (took a lot longer, of course...) When I was putting it together I bent it just a bit and it cracked along the mold line in the plastic. You could only see the crack if you looked super close. It was the first time I had ever cleaned the filter so I called the place I bought it from (Pet Solutions) and they sent me a new one.

Terrible!!! Is that lube available in Socal? I assumed the lube is safe to come in contact with water.
Look on the label...it is sold by Rainbow/Lifegard same as Pentair Aquatics makers of QuietOne Pumps...

I received a set of them that came with my 2217. They both leaked out of the square holes on the side. Sent back and got new ones and those leaked from the valve stem. I have given up on them. Hope you have better luck than me.
And i'm talking right out of the box. :thumbsdow
