For all of you who want to go off of the subject. The problem is not the eating of the fish. It is the manner in which it was prepared. The cook already crossed the line by catchng and eating an endangered species. However, why is it okay for the fish to suffer? The point of hunting is instant death of the species. No torturing.
where in this whole thread did it ever say it was wild caught? i havent seen it . its also been mentioned already cleaning fish alive is the way things are done in that part of the world. You ever cleaned a channle cat or a bullhead or a flathead. u lay it on a board bang a nail threw its head and rip the skin off it . 9 times outa ten its breathing when this is happening and after the head is choped off its still breathing. get over it people.
Oh come on its just a fish. People eat fish on a daily basis, the fresher the fish the better it cooks & tastes etc. Dont be such cry babies over it. Lobsters and crabs get boiled alive thats what happens when your on the top of the food chain you get to eat other stuff and not worry about it. If you dont like seeing it dont watch simple. The analogy about the doctor and anesteshia is complete garbage there is no law against scaling a fish alive.
