the medication and chemicals we put in the tank, i don't think thats a problem, its to keep the fish healthy and disease free, like people inject things into chicken, cow, to keep them disease free and fatten them up quicker, we have no problem eating them cause we didn't raise it, thats the only difference...

nope. thats not how it is.

they put growth hormone in chicken, not chemicals that are highly toxic to humans that treat fish basically the same way kemotherapy treats cancer. it isn't chinese herbal medicine, the idea behind fish medication is to poison the whole fish to kill whatever is causing the fish to be ill while being only JUST lethal enough not to kill the fish itself.

its a double-edged method. not at all healthy, just better than having the fish die. and because pet fish aren't high on the liability list as humans, the companies are completely fine with this method but NOT human consumption.

I Have never eaten any But when my dad was in his teen's he ate his brother's snakehead. (when they were leagle) He said it tasted alright too.

But one day, I saw that it was ramming my 2.5' ID Shark (which incidentally is the new craze in the international gourmet fish market now), so I gave it one last warning, it continued to ram and I had no choice...complete story here

The only excuse I can give is...er... I'm Filipino. We need to have a law to prohibit the eating of dogs :screwy:

i guess there will be a kind of bonding when you decide to keep fish as a pet , just buried them
