true story, when i was young, like 7 years old, had a 55g with three 10" tinfoil bards. one jumped out of the bucket upon moving the setup to our new house. next morning dug a grave for him in the backyard but couldn't find the dead fish anywhere. to my horror I seen my grandmother reach into the frig and pull out a cleaned/scaled tinfoil bard. I screamed as she slides it into a pan of sizzling oil. I laugh at the story now but I was traumatized then. haha, yes im filipino and grandma always thought we was raising the fish in the tank to eat haha. rest her soul
Grand Mah...Where ease de pish?? LOL
If my PoP's were still alive, he'd eat my fish no problem, gut em and fry em and then chow down the head, eyes, crunchy fins, bones and all, no siht! My Pops was from the Phillipines too!
ever see that bag of dried silver fish...they look like minnows, but chrome silver and dried...He'd eat those like chips,

i would never eat my pet fish knowing that i put alot of chemicals in the tank. the medication i put in my tank causes cancer. (thats what the back label says)

I had a friend who bought five 2~3” Pacu and a 29 Gallon tank under extremely bad advice from a LFS…

I took the Pacu and gave him Convicts and dithers.

The Pacu spent a just shy of 1 year in a 6’ round 300 Gal Rubbermiad. At 22+” they had become to skittish and were slamming into the side walls to hard. The tank had to have a piece of plywood over the top to prevent them from jumping out.

Thus why I know… tank raised Pacu tastes nasty…

well don't eat the fish that got treated with medication and the fishes that you know got sick before..... problem solved...

fish caught at the lake/oceans have mercury and other contaminates, which cause birth defects, damage to the brian, nerves, etc...

hamburger will give u a blood clog oneday...

greens may have E. Coli

we're screwed...
