So as many know I finally got my male isletas from rapps for my female. She has been showing off and getting her colors. Every day I wake up and she's got a few split fins and some marks on her body but nothing sever that would make me divide them yet. Is this normal for amphs before breeding? They swim together and then he chases her and pushes her around but he hasn't showed any color changes. My breeding goes as far as convicts and jags. I may need to lower my temp as its between 80-82 degrees and 78 is ideal. Any help would be great.

That's not the problem tho. She wants to and he just seems to shrug her off. Divider is ready no matter what

If it wont hurt you can just add the divider. If the female is much smaller than the male u can make a hole in te dividier so she can go to his side but she cant go to hers so she can escape if he gets too roughed. But a little battering is normal just gotta watch carefully
