'coons are awesome!!! I've raised a few from time to time that we've found when cutting down trees and the like. They are quite the comical, inquisitive little creatures. Definitely able to bring on the primal rage though thats for sure. Quite surprising the amount of damage and fury that can be released from sucha 'small' animal.
I'm sure them 'coons will be ready to leave you in the dust than rather stand and give you a good lickin!!
BTW...if it was a possum, you won't need a trap, you can just catch them by hand. LoL. Really not that hard, done it several times.![]()

Vicious_Fish;3426876; said:Sounds like raccoon poo. Lots of berries and nuts in it are a dead giveaway.
Death Pony;3427026; said:Yup, I've relocated one before. It wasn't that fun, considering it was a male the size of a dog!!! And when I say dog I mean a good sized dog, not a Yorkie. He was not the happiest animal I've ever seen and tried to bite through the cage.
Red Devil;3427204; said:we have relocated many of them in the have a heart trap... the farm where we kept our horses had quite a few raccoons.. and many barn cats.. many times i would be strolling through the big barn to check on the horses and i would see all the cats eating in a circle from a big pan their regular cat food... you quessed it ... in with all those cats were a couple of raccoons..they never bothered the cats but they did poop and make nests in the hay in the hay loft... so we would set the traps with cat food as bait and they would always be in there the next morning.. then we put the trap in the tractor bucket and would relocate them out into the open apple field... they were so happy to go they would run away quickly as soon as the cage door opened..
