Saw the movie with my son yesterday. i just couldn't get into take jacket off, put jacket on for 15 minutes. If your a fan of the original karate kid you probably will not like the new 1 as much.

Good point with Jackie Chan and I never was a big fan of his slapstick style but he plays his role nicely......Which role did that actor play in the Iron Monkey? I'll have to pull that out and watch it now,great film...His role was about the same as the antagonist instructor in the previous films but more intense maybe.I thought it was interesting how his character kept referring to the Smith character as a thing though.svang55;4212293; said:

they even have a character play a young chinese legend, Wong Fe Hung in Iron Monkey. The actor is actually a girl. It fooled me, thought it was a boy until I looked it up.

I heard its a good movie. I think they screwed up trying to "replace mr.myagi" When they should have just invented a new character, because anyone coming in after myagi will never be as good.
