Del My 250 was a goldfish tank before I bought it We have a Goldfish.. Under sized tank right now.. But is nice sized godl I also had a Comet in my 250.. Remember .

Goldfish are such a runty fish that most people would rather invest more money for something a little higher class.

But some goldfish tanks dont hurt. Heres a small sample.

There are some really high class expensive goldfish out there, I have seen them cost $1000 dollars or more. In many Asian countries goldfish are serious stuff, as popular as arowana and flowerhorns.

Yes I know, it'll never stop. But my perspective of goldfish is just not good I s'pose. I just cant see who would dedicate a MONSTER tank for goldfish. Unless your handy with money and have many monster species tanks.

The reason I wouldn't dedicate a larger 100+ tank to goldfish is because it would be easier to keep them outside. Other larger fish I couldn't keep outdoors.
I wouldn't mind devoting a 55 gal to a pair of goldfish though.
