not sure how that's better but the o.p., what's your idea of a monster? you lookin for a lil terror or somethin that looks nice? you could get exodons if you want terrors. every other monster, by my definition, you wouldn't be able to pack multiple in the tank sizes you have
Really? Cus Its definately a no brainer. Anywayz, I think the o.p. was hypothecially asking about monster tanks with large quantities of schooling fish. Not for his personal tanks.

You could have a large, well planted tank with schools of all kinds of tetras and barbs. It would be really cool to see them all move in tandem.

Better a bowl than a 600g tank for that one 3-4in fish:ROFL:

The only way I see this being a bad thing is it won't be much of a display tank, but how a bowl is better than a large tank for any fish I don't understand... for the person being selfish maybe but not better to be in a bowl from the fishes point of view

That has to be the biggest waste of space ever!:headshake:shakehead Could keep a male betta in a bowl or 3 gallon hex.:wall:

I am 99% certain that the betta was only in there for a short amount of time, and isn't going to be the only fish in the tank. If you think about it, this makes sense.

I have about 30 small convicts in my 1500. I am trying to keep more small fish in it as it keeps the activity level up.

Nice! I bet it is cool to watch all the different convict families!

Im sure there is a tv show like that out there, probably involves dog the bounty hunter or something. lol

As for the monster tank with small fish, there is somebody on here from costa rica that has a huge tropical pond with a bunch of small africans and livebearers in it. Pretty neat to look at.

My 700 gallon has about 15 6 inch koi. But it is only temporary.
