I've had relatives buy me fish (which I didn't keep for long since they were too aggressive for my setup) and my dad but he always asks first, never just buys. I also don't like people feeding my fish unless its the bf because they always over feed and I have a heck of a time moving crap to siphon the extra food out.
I don't mind so much now with sharing tanks with my bf as our tanks are combined but at first I was not into it. I like doing my tanks a certain way and don't want to ask how to decorate/stock a tank. I plan to have my own tanks in the future as he does because we want different things (for me aggressive and him docile community type fish) but for now its all good.
