You don't even know! He jumps on tables, constantly digs craters in my yard, he's really skittish around strangers, chases after anything that moves and when he's bored, he's the most destructive dog ever. He yanked the carpet out of our living room, grabbed a tv cable and yanked it out of the wall and put holes in out walls from crashing into them when chasing moths. Here's what he did to my brothers room when he was only 6 months old! ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1400802236.798127.jpg

Besides all that, I love him to death! I wouldn't give him up for $1 billion!

Are these good guard dogs?

Noooo! They're very skittish around strangers. They're extremely loyal to their owners but they'll run away from people they don't know and they don't really bark so they won't let you know if someone is breaking into the house. If you wanna guard dog, definitely go for either a pure German shepherd or a Doberman.

I have read about wolf dogs killing. Is there more danger in these guys then other breeds?

As far as more danger, no. Just like any skittish dog, if you corner them, they will attack cuz there's nowhere else for them to go. Their first instinct is to run. As far as killing goes, any dog can kill. There are plenty of stories of dogs killing their owners and other people including chihuahua's and Pomeranians killing babies and small children.

Wolves are very shy contrary to popular belief. Anything mixed with wolf is essentially a really shy dog. As for danger high prey drive and I wouldn't let a small child trip infront of one but otherwise not really dangerous.

I've never personally kept coydogs but I currently have a wolfdog. How are their temperaments? Mine's 1/2 timberwolf, 1/4 husky and 1/4 German shepherd and he's definitely a handful. Are coydogs the same?

Me and my fam got a bunch of pupps from the same litter, mine was really active and playful but had a penchant for digging and chewing his leader off but nothing huge. My uncles was more laid back and my aunts was straight chill haha even when young I don't think they even dug. Your wolfdog is nice, they are generally easier to keep then coydogs as I've heard. Be careful with him as he gets older, if he doesn't feel like there is a "leader" he will try to become one himself by attempting to kill the other "alpha". If your firm enough tho that shouldn't happen. Coys won't do this because they don't live by pack mentality, as wolves do
