Me and my fam got a bunch of pupps from the same litter, mine was really active and playful but had a penchant for digging and chewing his leader off but nothing huge. My uncles was more laid back and my aunts was straight chill haha even when young I don't think they even dug. Your wolfdog is nice, they are generally easier to keep then coydogs as I've heard. Be careful with him as he gets older, if he doesn't feel like there is a "leader" he will try to become one himself by attempting to kill the other "alpha". If your firm enough tho that shouldn't happen. Coys won't do this because they don't live by pack mentality, as wolves do

Very true! He's almost 8 though and knows I'm the leader. Occasionally he tries to challenge me but that's only for a minute. He can't beat me! I'm the alpha in this pack haha

I haven't heard that wolfdogs are easier. I would think the opposite mainly cuz they get much larger usually than coydogs

The reason some say they are easier I think is the whole pack thing, as you said yours exhibits the pack behavior so you can alpha it, but a coydog with enough coy 50% or more can be a hand full for life since they won't recognize an "alpha" in most cases. I think mine were 50 or less since they were well tempered for the most part. They'd also kill small animals whenever the chance was presented, never cats but foxes coons even a skunk by my aunts haha. My uncles was trained to hunt though, made an insanely awesome tracking dog for bowhunts
