think they just keep themselves suspended a lot of the time, as opposed to continuous swimming. I havent heard of people keeping the UK pike. Would be cool though, love those fish, and have often wondered your question too.

They have them at Wharf Aquatics at the moment. They seem to stay pretty still most of the time, just hanging around. Not sure if they are difficult to get on to dead stuff 'cos they all look pretty thin. The perch they have look a whole lot better, especially the big one

Yea it sucks getting them on prepared foods. It took me forever and I tried a few times. Finally I got it and it only got better from there. I even have him taking pellets now. But they are very difficult initally.
