leaf springs can usualy support alot more weight, this is why you see almost all trucks have leafs in the back. Leafs are also alot more stable...but provide alot less wheel travel, and a tooth jarring ride

Thats ok, I've been un-softing the suspension with Rancho Shocks and [SIZE=-1]Daystar Polyurethane Bushings among other things!

I though leaf springs were to help with weight from things loaded in the truck end?[/SIZE]

those are the helper springs that do that.
