the still pic on the left? That was from 8 Diagram Pole Fighter. I guess it does kind of resemble the 5 venoms get up, what I remember most about the Venoms movie costumes were the "fly swatters" one guy wore on his head, and the painted on goatee another guy wore lol.
Ha ha yeah I remember the guy with the fly swatter headdress. He was some kind of magistrate and some of the make up from then was pretty cheesy but I love those old flicks.......Sumo that's some good stuff in those clips.I was looking for Fist of Legend the other day but you know who does not have it.

i know a couple of Once Upon a Time in China movies are available only on the dvd package. but not sure about fist of legend. i own the dvd, bought it used from blockbuster actually a while back so i can pop it in whenever i want. i'd let you borrow it if you move to socal

jet li returns to china from school in japan when he hears of his masters death. his master's son get's jealous when he sees the students motivated by jet li's return plus contaversy stirs when jet li's girlfriend shows up. the master's son challenges jet li to a fight, winner becomes master of the school. jet li is reluctant to fight back, he holds back and only defends. he's also surprized to see the son not holding back. the students then cheer for the son to beat him. jet li then fights back using boxing footwork. i saw this as a tribute to bruce lee who was a fan and impressed with mohamed ali's footwork. jet li then beats the master's son but turns down the position to become master and leaves with his japanese girlfriend,.....

Who's seen OldBoy on netflix? Not a dedicated kungfui movie, but I thought it was good.

I've heard about this movie, people speak highly of it and that it's really trippy. is that true? It's a korean movie right? If it's the one I'm talking about, the US is planning on remaking it.

I think I tried searching for it and it wasn't available on netflix anymore. i'll have to try again

IP Man 1,2,3 is a great story of Bruce Lee's master and childhood story of Bruce Lee. When I first watched it I told my sons they need to see this movie but wasn't sure since it was sub-titled if they get interested in watching it through. They did and I was surprised cause my youngest really liked it and watched it several times over by himself. Bruce Lee movies will always be my favorites. I like the early first series of Van Damme movies. The first few Steven Segal movies like when "Above the Law" first came out back in 1988 that was a badass movie. All the other slew of Chinese martial arts movies with the flying around through the air I don't really get into much.

man, i don't know why i did it, but i just spoiled it for myself. i read all about Old Boy.

i wish i would've seen the movie without knowing. sounds really trippy. i gotta see this movie somehow

Never heard of this Old Boy,I'll have to look into it....Sumo what about The Story of Ricky Oh,ever heard of that one?.....Steven Segall's hype to me died after Above the Law,after the mystique and rumors about him being involved with the CIA died down.I can't get into his other movies much eventhough he is a real badass and I like the discipline he practices.

story of ricky oh sounds familiar but i never seen it. is it good?

i agree with you guys, the early van damm and segals were good. they fell off for me after a while early on. i remember my first time ever seeing van damm was in a movie called No Retreat, No Surrender. he was a villain and was awesome. i was a kid and i immediately became a fan. then as i got older, like i said, he fell off for me

bloodsport is a classic
