mostly all i listen too. but i only listen to the bands that have melodic music not bands like Between the buried and me, which dose sound like a bunch of noise.

look into bands from mass. bands like all that remains, old KSE and old Shadows Fall. killswitch gained much respect from scandinavian metal bands such as in flames and soilwork. They were really there at the beginning of "metalcore" and it sprung from guys that liked both hardcore and metal that ended up in the same bands.
I'm with you on this, can't stand metalcore. Absolutely hate it. Lame excuse for metal, doesn't even deserve to be called metal anything. As for the songs, they definitely do sound similar...
thats just the style of atreyus music there are alot of bands that sound like atreyu and visa versa.
