fair enough, but without first hand knowledge you cannot know who rips off who (everybody rips off everybody else BTW's it's the buisness nowadays), actual creativity is going to be hard to find, people want to make money and sign record deals not make music. Some people may say screaming into the mic is just as bad if not worse than the "crying" you discribe, and not every chord can be different.
i enjoy any music that's actually still made with instuments currently, the majority of what i hear now is synthisysed garbage and machined perfect tonal voices, as long as it's instumental in some way i can handle anything that sounds good and not give a crap if they musics a little more girly than death core.
august burns red is very technical stuff. also, check out Into the Moat (idk if you could call them metalcore, but theyre not straight metal)
so whats the point of this thread? just to let all of us know that you think metalcore hardcore is crap, and that you think a certain band is ripping off another bands sound? wow, you know everyone is different some people may think that the bands that you listed above are crap, also some of those bands you listed im sure sound like rip offs of other bands for example opeth, ive heard other bands that sound like them, so what.
