If only you lived in the USA I'd beg you to do option A. so that I could buy it and put it into the 600 gal I'll be buying in a month or two. As that is not the case make an exquisit pondarium as I call it for the guy and keep us updated. Pondarium=a pond with a viewing window.

At the moment alot say mine is the biggest with the most perfect snout.

Mine was 15", and the growth was always slow. It would grow slowly, most noticeably in girth. Pond was a God send. Thats when the growth picked up, and would rarely bang up.
