I move my ST this morning to my quarantine tank where my aro is and he beat the crap out of it at first sight........ i had to move the ST to my sump cause my blood parrots is stressing my ST out......... trying to rid of my parrots...

Honestly I thought that Dats were pretty common tankmates for Aros. I keep Silver Dats with a Black and an African Aro.

I just bought 4 ST and two die a day after the third one wasn't looking good when i came home for lunch. I bought some feeder for the ST but only one ate. I didn't want to starve them because of what happen to the other 2. I saw my blood parrot picking on the dats when i first introduce them. I though the dats would just fit right in cause they are the same size as my parrot.

After i had two dying on me i wasn't about to let the third one go and decide to move it over to my quarantine aro tank. I have and angle fish in that tank also and my aro was fine with it. He only pick on it when he's hungry. Well, when i drop the ST in the aro nudge it right away. I though it was just curious but a few second later he slam the ST into the glass. I took the ST out to the sump cause i don't have any other tank. I hope it ok when i get home.....

Blood parrots are not to be trusted; I lost a lot of Clown loaches to a parrot.
I now have 3 NTTs Dats in with my RTG, I only had one up until about a week ago.
The biggest NTT, which I’ve had the longest, is half the size of the RTG. The RTG often goes down to nip it but doesn't attack with much effort. The NTT often shoots out of hiding and strikes the RTG, usually around the gill plates.

Since adding 2 more NTTs, both of which are smaller than the original, the RTG is acting a bit different. The smallest of the NTTs (about 4 inches) is getting picked on by the RTG and it is attacked more vigorously. The NTT is very quick though and seldom gets caught out.
IMHO they're ok to keep together, but if you buy the Dats small they're going to have trouble. They grow a lot slower than Aros.
In addition, I don't think you guys have been buying STs, if you have you've spent a lot of money and bought very mature fish that would have no problems sticking up for themselves. STs are extinct in the wild; there haven't been any on the market for 5 or 6 years at least! What you've bought is (usually) Indo Tigers or Northern Thailand Tigers.

Can you post pics of your ST? Thanks.

my silver dat(not quite a foot long) and my silver aro(about 2 feet) have been together happily for over 9 months....................they were both much smaller when introduced.
