anyone keeping Dat with Aro?

all this about big aros eating small dats is rubbish

if you mix the aro with small dats from small you wont have many problems

i have had a tank full of 9 monster Asian aros 22inch each in a tank with 4inch dats with no hiding place and it was fine that shows me most if not all aros wont eat dats

many fish know another fish defenses

the dats defense is its very sharp dorsal fin and if a dat was eaten by another fish that dorsal fin would do some very bad internal damage to the fish that eats it

i for one have seen dats attacked but never eaten even my rays sometimes jump on the dats then feel the sharp dorsal fin and let them go

if anyone has had a dat that was eaten i would like to hear what happened to the fish that ate it

what's the different if the aro attacked the dat or eats it....... the dat it's dead either way....

if the aro can pin a small dat down then your tank is to small for the aro anyway

conflict only happens with dats and aros of the same or near same size

a 18inch aro will feel no threat from a 4inch dat

My 18" RTG bullies my smallest 4" NTT when it's in the open, but it soon darts away. My 5" an 6" get no attention at all now.
