I have a 150 gallon mixed new world cichlid setup with 6 cichlids and an ornate bichir. I wanna get maybe 1 or 2 more fish that swim at the upper level and are compatible with cichlids. Any suggestions?

how are their temperament? My cichlids are becoming very aggressive now that they are 3-5 inches. They've already killed an sinner arowana and a marble gar both of which were twice their size

I have a pink tailed chalceus. I would refuse to get any less than 5-6. they are notorious for beating the **** out of eachother and you ending up with just one. the more you keep the more likely you are to actually keep the same number of fish alive. either that or have one single chalceus. mine is awesome he minds his own business and is always the fastest to grab food. they remind me of little mini arowanas, they have the same thick large scales
