Anyone know what fish make a bright orange/red bubble nest?

Nah..too much trouble... besides....its already in the leafy refuge I made specifically to protect any possible fry from the rest of the tank.

Well, I was going to net this thing up last night and cut it in half to see what it is... but it was gone. It either moved, got ate or dissipated. Oh well.

Well, I found this thing again and now know what this was.

It was a large slice of apple… and yes I feel pretty dumb.. I didn’t know that I threw this piece in the tank.. it was meant for other animals… I only feed the fish slices of the flesh only so this piece with the red skin must have fell in accidentally.

You know I was going to post it looked like a red apple skin that somebody might be messing with you. But I deleted that and said flip it over I want to see the other side..
