Anyone looking for Kirin/Kilin Parrots?

Kamfa's have been revamped so to speak. Many breeder's have been introducing new blood to strengthen the tail and fix the fertility prob's in the last several years.

I was gonna get a mesh one but Petcos out so I will have to get some egg crate from Home Depot. I will have to move any fry right away I guess.

I think this fish is gonna make you very happy Chris. I see some very interesting markings on the head and behind the eye. Just wait a few days, maybe even a week or so.

Just need to get the separator up. How long did it take for your kilin to get to the size it is now? How big was it when you got it?

she was the same size as yours is now..not sure how long it took her to get this big...she's been plateaued in size for a while now. I'd say maybe like 3 month's? that could be way off, I just didn't document her growth. Too fustrating to do that with short body hybrids.

That just doesnt seem right, it was maybe more like 4-5 month's? Still not 100% sure.

Parrots in general seen to grow really slow but they mature (or at least the females) around 2.5-3 inches.

I was assured she would only reach 4-5 inch's in length. I think she will get bigger than that. I'm guessing that she will reach something more like 6-7 inch's but it will take year's.

Bought my first parrot on January 17 I think and he was about 2" so about the same as the new guy. Hes now almost 4.5". I have one I got on March 3 and it was slightly over an inch and now is almost 4".
