Anyone NOT use water conditioner/prime ?

Learn from other peoples mishaps! The levels of chlorine will vary season to season, why risk it? My fish mean too much too me to skimp on dechlor. Im assuming the ppl that skimp on dechlor also skimp on regular wc and cleaning as well.

I don't really skimp out on prime... I buy it in the 4 litre bottles.

I guess what I'm trying to say is... If I get chlorine reading from my water supplier, and the levels are 0, which I doubt very much, would I need to use prime......
Must call up my water supplier Tomo.

If you don't use anything then you need to check or chlorine every time and call the water supplier, cheaper to dechlorinate.

People that just dump water in are not right, they are just getting away with it. It's not to be promoted.

A friend of mine goes out in the sun without sun cream, they are still alive at 40 but we probably will not know if they die early until around 60, why risk it........

Im going to attempt to breed food fish in the future and I am wondering what I should do to the water to male it safe. I am told you shouldn't use water conditioner like prime for fish you will eat. I know many people will set out large vats of water for a few days before adding to there aquaculture system to remove chlorine but what do you so about chloramines and fluoride(why do they put that crap in our water anyway) ?

I do that all the time. Sun is good for you. Like all things, its bad in excess
Also what about the stuff in the water conditioner? I can't imagine that stuff could be too good for them either.

Chloramine kills bacteria and other nasties and they prefer to use it over chlorine because it has a better taste than chlorine. Fluoride in water has prevented/delayed millions of cavities. I grew up with it and didn't have a cavity till I was 26. Its not fish water, its people water.

lol bad comparison. the sun is actually good for u. you need the sun. just to much can be bad for u. applying chemicals on ur skin is bad.
