I know thats why I want to own one! I've seen maybe 3 or 4 in my life. I'm one of the few people I know who actually take their vehicle off-road. If your not going to use it, why have it?

exactly!! like those people that buy hummers and land rovers and just drive them to the office. Or all the jeep rubicons you see driven by soccer moms. I think that Jeep made the new 4 door wranglers so more people that dont off road will buy jeeps. I guess that they need to make money, so I cant blame them, but it sucks to see so many capable trucks going to waste.

Nice truck and nice trails. You guys got it good on the west coast! Over here, If you want to go wheelin, you are usually trespassing. There are very few places to wheel legally on the east coast. I have been thinking about moving out west (arizona probably), mainly because I'm tired of being chased out of the woods by angry guys with shotguns!

Haha, yeah i've been there before frnchjeep nothing like running from some crazy redneck! Lucky for me I have a few conections that let me off road on their property. Mostly here in the Appahlacian mountains. Yeah it does tick me off too that people need to drive hummers and escalades as statis symbols. Go get a car! And you know what else kills me? When people put big "Bling'n" rims on trucks and SUV's. What a waste.

Hell yeah!! There's nothin like neutering a perfectly good truck with useless rims and tires!

Alright frnchjeep, you have the brand in your name, so what kind of jeep do you have?

I have (currently):

1995 cherokee xj- 4 inch lift. 32x11.5R15, stock motor, custom intake, custom exhaust.

2001 cherokee xj- custom intake, custom exhaust, otherwise stock for now (wife's rig)

1991 wrangler yj (current project)- GM 305, GM 3 speed tranny, GM 14 bolt(1 ton) axles, custom 14 inch lift leaf springs, 39.5x15xR16, still w.i.p. will be done this summer, will post action shots!

Very nice! Someday I want to get a Rubicon and pimp it out off-road style. My wife has a nice 04 Liberty Renegade but I don't think she wants to bother doing anything to it. What kind of intake and exhaust to you have on your cherokee? I want to get a K&N intake soon and put a flowmaster on. The 4.0 L inline 6 was a great engine. That's what my 96 Grand had. My new one has a 318 c.i. V8.

Have you ever seen this concept jeep? The Hurricane. It has not one, but two 5.7 L Hemi's. Giving it total of 670 hp and 740 lb-ft of torque. And lets not forget to mention the ability to seriously turn on a dime! Looks like a Warthog from the Halo games.

the 95 has a k+n filter with custom pipe. exhaust is a cherry bomb muffler with custom pipe.

the 2001 has a k+n intake. the exhaust is magnaflow duals with custom pipes. I work at a custom exhaust shop, so I can bend intake and exhaust pipes for next to free.

The 4.0 is no slouch and will run forever, but the power of the 5.2 is great!

A lifted liberty would be awesome. I have never seen one in person. You should definatly work on her, so she can go off roading with you!

It does look like the warthog. I saw a short blip on it in some mag a few years ago, but there wasn't any serious info on it.
