Yes, the LS3 engine is new for 2008, and yes, ProCharger is ready to make them even faster! Initial testing on the new LS3 engine has shown 550+ rwhp with just 5 psi of boost, and nearly 600 rwhp with 6 psi. With a P-1SC-1 self-contained head unit and highly-efficient air-to-air intercooler system, the LS3 kit continues the legacy of ProCharger's industry leading LS1, LS2, LS6 and LS7 supercharger systems.

Also you have to be very careful of what they claim, they may put the kit on five different cars and take the highest of all of them. Some cars from the factory may dyno higher right off the showroom floor..

Also most of these companies use "dyno tricks" as well when inflating their number for their products. There were a few businesses on ls1tech that got caught doing these things..

oooo $@#* i thought you meant the intake manifold. i was lost. when you said "no engine builder polishes intake side! causes fuel puddles! port yes polish no!"
i agree with on that. but it can be done.

just stop you look silly. i am not being mean just up front.

lot of people measure fly wheel hp to find the power of the engine's "full power" to calculate the power that's being put down. it works better with turbos and super chargers, to see if they must up grade drives shafts higher then stage 2.

So why would someone measure flywheel hp to find out whats being put down when all they have to do is strap the car to a dyno??

That vettes driveshaft will easily hold that kind of hp. That may be a problem with a car that makes 100hp from the factory but not a vette..

I understand I have seen them dyno 3 vettes with this package right next door to my facility and all made around 530-550 RWHP on the dyno with 5 psi, I have yet to see one of the car owners go 6 psi but would love to see what the difference would be. I am also not a mechanic and apologize for using total or flywheel HP to me it's all about the total HP the car can put out. After this lesson I will be more exact.

Honda's( I KNOW) can put lots of hp out of the fly wheel, but alot of people out there don't make drive shaft's that can handle 400hp. so measuring fly wheel hp, we can figure out if a stage 2 or even a stage 3 can with stand 500hp straight to the wheels in 1/2 a sec. for a quarter mile.

wow! half shafts, stage 2 or 3? 25 or 50000 credits on GT? really quite while your ahead
